I AM MORE THAN THAT.


Aside from social media, where else do you express some self love? Mirror. Huge mirrors.


Social media has become a huge part of everyday life especially of today's generation called "Millennials". When you wake up, the first thing you do is basically to check your Instagram account and update your Snapchat stories. Checking DM's and PM's. Heck yes. Take flat lay photos of things you just bought. Take a hundred random shots of selfies and uploading just one perfect photo on Facebook. Filming makeup videos for your avid viewers makes you happy. Taking photos of the food and coffee you have for breakfast and ended up eating it cold. Taking #ootd photos of your outfit and looking cute. Tweeting rants about how you hate the guy who made your hopes up for love. Retweeting hundreds of "hugot" tweets in a day. And apparently, some people call you VAIN.

I am guilty. I am one of those girls who would post stuff aesthetically on social medias. But here's the thing, I AM MORE THAN THAT. I am more than just a girl who updates my IG posts in the morning because I basically start my day with a conversation with The Lord and His word as my breakfast. I am more than just a girl who checks her DMs because I always keep in touch with my family and bestfriends through it (LDR problems). I am more than just a girl who takes flat lay photos of the things I bought because I worked hard for it. I am more than just a girl who takes hundred of random selfies and uploading one not because I seek for attention but because I appreciate myself even more. I am more than just a girl who beats her face with makeup on and film weird videos because that's what I love to do. I am more than just a girl who takes a photo of food for half an hour before I dig in because that's what food bloggers do. I eat cold pasta anyways. I am more than just a girl who uploads #ootd photos just because. I am more than just a girl who rants about random guy's lying ass and fake love because I know what I deserve. I deserve true love from the right person. My right person. I am more than just a girl who expresses herself through social media. Believe me, I am more than that.

Okay. So, let's take it slow. I am the girl who loves to write, not on Facebook status but on real paper using real pen. I write poems expressing my thoughts and feelings. I am the girl who loves to cook. Pasta and "lutong bahay" like Sinigang and Adobo are my masterpieces. I am the girl who loves kids. I love to cuddle them and make them cry. Haha. Kidding aside. I am the girl who loves listening to my Worship playlist during shower time. I am the girl who loves sunny mornings more than rainy cold nights. I am the girl who loves cats and wishing to have dogs too. I am the girl who is forever grateful for having my parents beside me though I'm already 21. I am the girl who values quality time over anything. I am the girl who's up for an adventure. May it be a 2 am ride and pizza or a mountain hike. I am the girl who would not have any second thoughts to cancel out plans for the one I love. I am the girl who would randomly text you and tell you how much I miss you or hate you. I am weird just like that. I am the girl who can't hide feelings (my worst habit). I am the girl who gets attach so easily to everything, may it be someone or a new ice cream flavor I just tasted. I am the girl who looks like a tiger but acts like a cat. Don't take it literally though. Haha. I am the girl who falls in love with soul and not with feelings. Believe me, I am more than that. Climb the walls I built around my heart and dig deeper into the hard rocks of my soul, so you'll know that I am more than just that.

    You deserve everything you want to be. So happy that you know what you are and don't give a damn about anytbing else. And yes writi g with a real pen and paper are mere memories now! No wait, does writing a shopping list count?!!! Enjoyed reading this article. And I like your pics that you post in IG.

MEESH CAFE: A SNEAK PEEK OF THEIR NEW MENU

Cafes are basically "in" these days. Most of us enjoyed the company of books, digital phones, and coffee. Meesh Cafe is the first ever coffee shop that caught my eye here in Doha. Aside from their Instagramable and Bloggable place, they also offer scrumptious menu. I regularly visit Meesh Cafe twice a month. Me and my Church-mates usually spend our bonding time at the Cafe, but mostly, ME-time. I used to be a coffee junkie but lately I changed my lifestyle by choosing a cup of tea or a jar of fresh smoothie rather than coffee. Banana Milkshake is my staple drink. I pair it with Caesar Salad or their BOMB New York Cheesecake. So, last 22 of November, I was invited together with my co-bloggers to try their new menu. The ambiance is extremely cool and relaxing. SELF-LOVE ON STRESSFUL DAYS

Sleepless nights. Stressful days. Name it. After all, self-love is the best remedy.  Every woman in this world deserves to be loved. If you can't have any then why not give it to yourself? It's not just about eating a pint of ice cream just because you need it or buying yourself some flowers just because you love it.
